Thought it would be cool to show how much difference there is between the three main steps of my digital work processes (though my sketches are generally always traditional) 8D

ok i originally posted to facebook with the comment "why do i even bother sketching?!" it ends up so differently OTL
haha
(my sketches are about an inch in size)

nope i used a deep red ( 3c3535 to be precise)
i use a soft brush to outline and some parts remain transparent, so i have to dulpicate it later. if i use black it looks way too chunky and harsh after

Well I used to draw a whole bunch of anime, but I never got used to outlines, btw I have no idea what you mean by brushes and stuff. And I always outline in black because I gett so confused on which colours to outline hair, skin and clothes..

brushes? like...the default paintbrush :confused:
when i say i outline in red, its a dark red, almost black. next time you use a program, type that code i said into the color picker thing and it will show it. it looks black.
this is because its less harsh on the eyes than absolute black. (it has nothing to do with colored outlines)
like in this image here i used a dark red for the lines but it looks black.
