Race King

Something ive been working on for a short time.

i wanted something a little design orientated to stick in my portfolio.
i really love how this came out. aside from the green light, theres no gradients or anything, its all cell shading.
i tried not to use more than three tones on everything. i think i only used three on the skin and shirt anyways...

oh and i didnt have my new tablet when i did the lineart for this so everything was done using the paths tool.
god.. i died...

sooo... tell me what you think i love his outfit...

this is a new thing coming from me

Done on paper, then completed in Gimp. (i have ps now but im trying to get used to it. and sketch pad and sketch book... freakin awesome stuff)
time: about.... 5 hours max. the lineart really did me in.
